Ho'okipa Beach

Turtle Beach
A once in a life time experience...

When visiting Maui you have got to stop by Ho'okipa Beach Park on Maui's north shore at around five o'clock in the evening. As you walk down the steps on to the white sand beach to your right you will see what look like just a bunch of rocks but as you get closer you discover the resting place of over a dozen turtles. They do have a wild life conservation volunteer out on the beach to make sure the turtles are treated with respect and to answer any questions you might have, but you get the chance to be inches way and to take lots of pictures. So if your snorkeling exploration didn't turn up many turtles or you didn't get any good pictures, or like us you just love turtles, you have got to check this place out!
